MAMA and BYE BYE DADA

Hello everyone,
yes today is a very sad day in the Garner home, we had to say goodbye to daddy this morning. we now begin the count down to August and i am in the words of my mother in law "DONE WITH WINTER" and have moved into April!!! which makes it 5 months to go till daddy is home- for a while anyway.
Jacob is learning to say Mama and is doing very well "mam" is what comes out when he is upset and i swear he looks around for me. i said it before but i can not beleive how much he changed in the short time Josh was here. you could really see the joy he had with 2 parents.

It is hard however to be done with winter here since yesterday and even today we had SNOW on the ground here at the house! FOr Josh;s last day here we headed up to the mountain to do a litte sledding. Jacob didnt midn the snow at all, except when dad tried to trick him into eating it-YUCKY

Pictures are to follow, i promise i am working on uploading them all and posting some.

I feel a heavy burden in me after saying goodbye to Josh, it's all i can do to hold back the tears, which only lead to a sore throat and stuffy nose, and as i have learned doesnt help anything. Therfore i turn to my Serenity Prayer:

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change,

the coruage to change the things i can

and the wisdom to know the difference.

I also find strentgh in my good friend Tiana whose husband left this morning as well for some training in Germany. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to see Josh's visit come to an end - it definately wasn't long enough. The army sure does make it hard for it's volunteers.
Hopefully August will come quickly. Adam does the same thing - says "mam" or "maaamaaa" only when he is upset. They are just 2 little peas in a pod!

Just remember how you felt when you first saw him at the airport when you picked him up. Keep that feeling until you see him again in August. The King family is always thinking of the three of you.

Love Ya :)
