The 1st of July

AHHH finally we are in the month of July what a wonderful month, the 4 th celebration and our 4 year anniversary, and now the count down to daddy's return. i am starting the count down to the 26th!!! lets hope thats the date.

So Jacob was i would say 70% better yesterday, he napped well and ate well, he even ceased his screaming and fits for a god couple hours to enjoy his birthday gifts that arrived in the mail (SUE we got 2 more boxes)
he was also well behaved when i took him the gym with me, there he played in the little playroom where i could watch over him, hmm maybe he is just bored with me and our home:)
This photo is him having a fit for NO reason at all.

We attempted church and the park on Sunday but neither was real eventful, Jacob fell asleep before church and then the park was just to hot for J to be on his hands.
He has begun to understand the beat of music and enjoys bobbing up and down in a dance like way when he hears it, we have also been big on animals and the sounds they make, he has a book with the first 100 animals and loves to flip the pages and point while i tell him what it is, this is actually the game he plays with EVERYONE, while u hold him he points and you must tell him what everything is, light, table, etc...

Take care all!!!!

Oh what a week it has been, from not having talked to Josh for 3 days to Jacob teething i am worn out, and i know most of you think oh well the week isnt even over yet, Well our days all run together..."the days feel like years when you're gone" So for me it has been a long week.

My Child does not like or want anything he did 2 weeks ago, he doesn't want a bath, or mac and cheese or grilled cheese, finally after 2 days of eating close to NOTHING he ate some noddles for me but g'ssss to have his self control:) I feel bad that he doesn't want anything but find myself torn between sticking to my guns with only offering 2 choices so as not to fall into a bad habit or getting him to just EAT, The fever is gone so ya think he would be feeling better but NOPE all he wants to do is throw tantrums and drink milk, which then causes brain freeze and he gets angry all over.
Boy i hope those teeth break threw soon, i blog about this b/c i am hoping that the dis liking everything is all part of the defiant phase Maggie and i talk about with our 1 year olds. Just testing and exploring i suppose.
I have photos to prov this somewhat monotoned child is capable of throwing a fit, it used to only be for an exact reason but now it last all day!!! check back for those, it is bed time at last oh and please be praying that there are only 4 or so weeks to go for the Garner family

I wanna soak up the sun

...and so we did along with a few other ladies Jacob and I went to the beach today, it was a blast.
We started by applying loads of sunscreen and a hat for J. The sun was out and the water was actually warm and shallow, only coming up at the most to my knees. there was a beautiful church in the town we were in, Caorle, Italy. We swam in the Mediterranean sea, how many of you blog reader can say that!!!!!

Jacob loved digging in the sand with his BF Kennedy but wasn't so happy about the water. we spent the day working over the merchants that walk up and down and ended up getting a towel for 8 euro that was priced at 20!!!!! wheeling an dealing as Josh would say.
As you will see in the photo J was so worn out he almost feel asleep on my shoulder in the sea!!! so the day was wonderful and thought i got a tad red i am sure it will be a tan in a few days!!!

Jacob had been spending time at the pool and trying to cut a tooth, his little gums are sore and have the blister on it, the tooth needs to break through!! i think it is actually his right lower k-9, poor darling. No walking yet but my mommy friends have faith in him that it will happen soon, i think he is going to wait for daddy just as he did for crawling.

We might find ourselves back at the beach this weekend HOPEFULLY but we always have the pool!!
Take care and God bless!!!!

Army Wives

So even with all the things running through my head that needs to be done, a final, Jacob needs shots, checking the mail for that package Josh sent weeks ago, i still couldnt resisit after a wonderful Sunday with my little boy sharing what i ahve ultimatly learned about motherhood and this quote:

Once you become a mother you stop being the
picture and start becoming the frame!!!
-Pamala
I have been an Army Wives addicted, i have watched the entire first season and though i know they are actresses, i cant help but laugh and cry all in one show. They portray us (army wives) so well, not so much the story lines because they are usually our worst nightmares, but the bond we make along the way as an Army Wife! I have connection all over the country and the world for that matter, a lady in Idaho whom i have never met but share a connection with as a mother and Army wife, i have a firend in Georgia, North Dakota, New York, Virginia, D.C. and many other places especially currently in Italy the ones getting me through this long deployment, and i think about them daily, about the strength we all share in raising our babies in supporting our husbands wherever their jobs take them and for however long!
I love being a mother and I love being an Army Wife
I love you Joshua!! You are our Hero through and through.

So going home is always fun but getting back into your own routine always makes me wonder if it was all worth it.
So anyway with the anticipation of josh returning home and trying to make order in the house, i have found it harder to get things back in order and find time to re connect with the web world, however 2 weeks from now school will be done and i will post for often and in depth about J's first year!!!

We arrived in Italy with winter weather, no joke i was in a sweatshirt and pants today!!!

Enjoy the pics!!
