I may be biast but....

Hello all, Another rough day but we are managing, just seems like nothing is going smoothly these days.

So as a mom we are all biast however when your given a reason to be then it's allowed right? While making a second trip into base today i drove by the photos shop where Jacob's 3 week photos were taken ,and bright and big in the window is my adorable beautiful baby, for all to see!!!!! Large enough for me to spot while driving by so he must be adorable. The photo posted is the one they have displayed. Like i said i may be biast but... the proof is in the window:)

Not to much else to report Jacob had a tantrum at dinner time so i am anticipating a midnight feeding, jsut didnt seem interested in food tonight only a soft pretzel to chew on...teething perhaps? Play group was cancelled this morning and since we had no notification, 3 of us moms took the kids to the community center and let them play on the floor, dont they realize how much work it is to get these babes up ready and out the door in a happy manner???? we'll be asking for notification next time!

Also ~J~ has been pre-invited to his first birthday party, Hannah and Sarah are turning 1 on Feb 17th so we will be attending that.

I will be attempting tonight to post video votage-i hope it works, check in tomorrow!! Time to draw a warm tub for my little man. Goodnight.

oh what a day

The morning started out fairly well, Jacob had a 5 30 feeding and that was to early b/c he would have needed a nap when we needed to leave for bible study so... he ate then went back to sleep, I went back to bed,but got up ready and dressed before J woke up again HOORAY!!!
He woke up in a wonderful mood and i thought the day was going to be a good one.

After study we headed over to pay the club bill-closed for the 2nd day in a row and since they wont let ME set it up online i have to pay in person, next we head home however on the way OFF the base i get stopped going out the gate by the MP, claiming i had made a rolling stop!!!!!! He ended up actually apologizing and let me go with a verbal warning ARHHHHH.

Oh lets see what else, Computer chair is broken, can't find light bulbs anywhere to fit our night lights, missed Josh's phone call. Oh Lord what a day. Maybe tonight will be better, we are getting Italian pizza with Rose, Roberto and Paolo:) Ciao for now

A Hodge Podge of Events

Jacob has done it, for 2 nights in a row he has gone to bed close to 8 pm and not waken up until 6 am!!!! yes this is a huge deal, since we are used to a feeding between 3 and 4 AM.
Feedings have also been going very well, we have moved up to the level 3's things with soft bits mixed in. He experienced Spaghetti, and seemed to enjoy it.

Thursday I have a DR. Appt to have my finger looked at, the tip of my middle finger has been numbe since i woke up Sat. I had 2 wrist incidents one just a few weeks ago and the other in october, so i want to make sure they arent all related. Prayers please.

Josh's R&R dates are just about to be released, we are hoping for early- mid march, when they do become available i will share a hint but will not be posting the real date. He will call family/friends sometime during his stay.

Weather has been wonderful, Jacob actuall yplaye don the deck today in his playpen, he loved watchign the cars go by. Paolo ,our neighboor, will be looking to get us somekind of chicken wire or fencing to block the bottom slack of wood that Jacob could fall through"he's a skinny minne" when he starts to crawl. Daddy and I will be busy baby proofing the house when he is home, chords i find are going to be the biggest challenge ( any ideas?) b/c of the generaters we use to convert the voltage. Ok Bye for now.

Hello Everyone,

Yes I have decided to end the pregnancy blog because...well I'm not pregnant anymore. So this is our new blog it will still mostly talk about Jacob because he is the center of our universe, but also our everyday life in Italy. Enjoy!!
